I'm pleased to announce the debut of HandHeldCrime, a mystery fiction magazine for handheld computer users. Starting today, we'll be offering a selection of web-published stories, specially formatted for handhelds, and the service will be available either by e-mail subscription or through AvantGo.

Our first issue features hardboiled fiction by Victor Gischler and J.Michael Blue, presented in conjunction with Plots With Guns; Christopher Mills, presented in conjunction with Thrilling Detective; and Hugh Lessig, presented in conjunction with Pulp Foil. Robert J. Randisi, author and founder of PWA, introduces the magazine, and we've also included some book reviews and a guide to crime fiction on the Internet. In future issues, we will include both co-published and exclusive fiction, as well as features and reviews.

Jamey Dumas, my co-publisher, and I are very excited about this venture, and we look forward to expanding and improving our service. Subscription information may be found at www.handheldcrime.com and questions may be directed to Jamey and me at info@handheldcrime.com
