Haven't read King Suckerman, but I have read The Sweet
Forever ... my favorite Pelecanos so far. I didn't feel that
I was missing anything, nor did it make me want to go out and
hunt down King Suckerman either ... I have all of Pelecanos'
books, but that one so far.
