This World's very worthwhile. It's very compact and goes for
the jugular. It's in a Thompson anthology called FIREWORKS
and in THE BLACK LIZARD ANTHOLOGY OF CRIME FICTION. They're
both otherwise pretty hit and miss, so don't pay an arm and a
leg for them. They also made a very interesting, and very
faithful movie adaptation with Billy Zane and Cheryl Lee
that's worth a rental.
