Found the thread on the orgin of the term "hard-boiled" interesting, but then
after WW1 boot camp was suggested as to it's orgin the thread whet to the
orgin of the term "Dick" for a PI. Am researching "Hard-boiled" here and am
willing to take any help I can get if the list would like to once again pick up the
thread. Also was told anything "hard-boiled" was yellow in the middle,
the opposite of of this list's meaning of the term. Suppose "Hard-Boiled"
simply refers to a "tough egg"?
