               They're a little hard to find, but Harlan Ellison wrote some good ones, mostly for the men's magazines, in the 50s and early 60s. Although I dislike his SF, his sort of throwaway style seemed well-suited to HB. I seem to recall that some of them were anthologized in a Pyramid paperback called _No Doors, No Windows_.

                The weirdest movies of this sort that I ever saw were on a double feature..._Gun Crazy_ and _Detour_, but you may have already seen them.
