I recall a series of action-filled westerns from the early
1970s featuring a character known as 'The Edge' or something
like that. Very fast paced but VERY violent. It reminded me
of some of those Executioner books where there is an
explicitly violent shootout every five pages or so.
I liked them as a pre-adolescent. I don't think I could deal
with them now
(wimping out with my old age, you see).
