How big is my library, you ask? Well, let's just say it's OK
to ask me, but don't discuss it with my wife, who might have
a few choice words to say. I'm actually afraid to retire from
teaching (merely at a community college, not a university)
because my office and numerous storage cabinets are so full
of books that there's no place for at home. In fact, I
already have to rent air-conditioned storage space to keep
some of the ones I don't have room for at either place. Let's
just say that although you can never have too many books, I'm
pushing the limit. Fortunately, I'm mainly a collector of old
paperbacks, which don't take up as much room as hardbacks
would.
