Andrew asks, about a selection from a Ross Thomas letter I
recently posted,

across his letter, Bill? He surely does not have a collection
of published letters?"
Don't know of any letters published. The letter is part of a
file in a state humanities council drawer devoted to books
used in adult discussion programs in public libraries The
letter was to a prof who was preparing a program on
Briarpatch, and sent his notes to RT, I guess to see if he
could get a response. He got a nice one, the best parts of
which I posted.
That's the long and the short of it. No other letters in the
file, so far as I know.
