I don't have that one, but I have Haut's latest, which picks
up American hardboiled writing from the 60s to the present,
called "Neon Noir." I think it's a good critical study by
someone who like the genre as opposed to those critics who
bleed it of interest by putting so much postmodern babble
into interpreting it.
