I don't recall any previous mentions of Bardin here. I read THE LAST OF
PHILIP BANTER a few years ago. DEVIL TAKE THE BLUE TAIL FLY has been on my
TBR pile since then. But other things keep popping up and moving it further
down the list!

As I recall, BANTER was interesting. In some ways it reminded me of
Woolrich, but without the heavy-handed stylizations that Woolrich sometimes
provides. Other than that, I don't really recall details. Are Bardin's books
still in print? -- Duane
