SPOILER ALERT
The only thing I had trouble with in _Green Ice_ was the way
Whitfield
dealt with the larger stones. Having the stones Malendez
brings from
South America be fake took a bit of wind out of an otherwise
exciting
conclusion to the storyline. Obviously Virgie thought there
were other
real stones out there, otherwise she wouldn't have staged
such an
elaborate scene at the funeral against Christenson (unless
one believes
it was all for the revenge of her friend Carrie). Did anyone
have any
similiar thoughts after reading the book?
