and as readers of this series know... this organization had no official name.
Helm's boss was known only by his code name of Mac, although Helm did find out
Mac's true identity in one of the later books. and those in Helm's
organization refered to their hits as "touches".

what I found most interesting in this series is that sometimes these touches
included members of other U.S. Government agencies.
