RARA-AVIS: Postman/bookstore

Hi folks,
I've just started reading THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE, and
will
soon join the discussion. Uh..I know this is a bit late...but
the kids
had back-to-school rituals, and I am a key player in
that.
I went to my fave used bookstore today, and asked the owner
for some
hardboiled books, as I had left my list at home. I tried going
thru the
racks in the hopes of recognizing names, but came up
empty-handed. She
said she only rarely gets anything hard-boiled in, as "those
books are
usually keepers." I thought that was cool.
Thanks for this list. I've enjoyed it very much.
