I'm back from my holidays and am ready to tackle to backlog
of
RARA-AVIS messages that have collected. I'd like to thank
Eddie
Duggan and Mario Taboada for keeping an eye on things while I
was
gone. (I had a very nice time, thanks for asking.)
I understand there's been some rancorous discussion, which
disappoints
me. Some people have unzubscribed from the list, and one
person (a
long-time zubscriber) mailed me to tell me why. I don't yet
know what
all was going on, but I hope everyone will be polite
now.
Mail to a few zubscribers was bouncing because they had
filled up
their disk quota. I unzubscribed them from the list. I've cut
back
on the amount of time I let these errors slide. If you have
some
problems with your e-mail, then notice you're not getting any
new
RARA-AVIS mail, it may be that I took you off the list.
Try
rezubscribing.
And remember, "Amicus verus est rara avis" ("A true friend is
a rare
bird").
