Thu, 18 Dec 1997 08:29:47 -0500 (EST) Thanks for the bibilographic info, Eddie. I have the luxury of a large
univeristy library from which I've been able to acquire all the books you
mention, as well as *Two-Bit Culture* by Kenneth Davis (a great
introduction to the history of the mass-market pb) and *Murder Off the
Rack* ed. Jon L. Breen and Martin Harry Greenberg, which has essays (of
WIDELY varying quality) on Whittington, Lacy, Thompson, Packer (woo-hoo!),
Marvin H. Albert (?), Williams, Hamilton, Rabe, and a couple others.

And I paid exactly $1 for *Take a Lesbian to Lunch*. M-
