I agree with you about Ellroy, butI don't like Ellroy because he is too
crude. Then again, I'm not really a fan of any writing that is too crude,
maybe because I don't have the stomach for it. The Big Nowhere and LA
confidential has sadistic murder and rape that I don't really like reading.
But then again, I don't have the stomach for it.
