I guess I should also introduce myself as a new member of the list.  My name is Craig Larson and I teach composition and literature classes at a small two-year college in Trinidad, Colorado.  I've been at it now for ten years and am planning to shortly switch over to librarianship.  I'm a voracious reader of most anything, though my tastes do tend to gravitate to the hard-boiled.  Favorite writers include: Raymond Chandler, Ross McDonald, Charles Willeford, James Lee Burke, Ian Rankin (does he qualify?), etc.  As I mentioned the other day in a post regarding James Ellroy, Ellroy is at the top of my list of favorites.  Looking forward to the discussions to come.
